Grid is the canvas resolution; pencil is how many cells one dab covers. Changing the grid reloads the trait, so set it early.
Stack passes inside this one trait — flats, then shading at lower opacity. They flatten into a single image. This is not the trait stacking order; that is the order of your categories on the left.
